The Arizona Department of Revenue allows an income tax credit up to $400.00 for individuals or $800.00 for married couples filing jointly for contributions to 501(c)3 organizations supporting the Working Poor.
Remember: Your contribution must be dated by April 15th to receive an AZ tax credit for the previous year (but by December 31st in order to deduct it on your federal income tax return as a charitable contribution).
