Prescott Sunrise Lions
Sunrise Lions contributions to non profit organizations are funded primarily by the collection and recycling of newspapers.
With over 60 members, the Sunrise Lions have contributed to many non profit organizations. These contributions are funded primarily by the collection and recycling of newspapers. Groups of Lions members meet twice a week to maintain this major project and ongoing fundraising effort.
Since creating our own foundation, the Prescott Sunrise Lions Club Foundation has funneled $75,000.00 annually to local schools, Youth Vision and Hearing Care, Yavapai Exceptional Industries, Prescott People Who Care, Coalition for Compassion and Justice Yavapai Family Advocacy Center, Camp Tatiyee – Summer Camp for Disabled Youth, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Prescott Area Shelter Services and More.
Long known as 'The Guys That Collect Eye Glasses'; Lions International, Local Lions clubs and the Prescott Sunrise Lions continue to grow, support and affect change in the lives in our community.
